USA...Bullies?

ARE WE ATTACKING COUNTRIES BECAUSE WE ARE
A COUNTRY OF ANGRY GRINGO’S?
OR IS IT A FIGHT TO THE DEATH…
TO SAVE A DREAM?!
We aren't out there as a country trying to pick a fight because were a country
of bullies,  mad at life and itching for a fight. I agree that the people
individually in the country are angry at almost every turn from fear, guilt and
generally being overwhelmed with sensory overload from every angle just
trying to survive. We spend an absorbent amount of time and energy just to
maintain a status quo. Computers need upgrades and new software. We
need new cell phones...smaller...play music, then movies. Ipods then xbox
then xbox II. Bill gates again, has figured it out. I think a review of the "great
new gadgets" that come with all the strings attached is needed more often; if
I can't or won't shut it off and live without it, it has strings! It is good to place
true progress in its place. People seem to forget that things are progressing
whether they are paying attention or not. What is often called progress is only
noticed by people when they themselves get rolled over by it. Comments
have been made about why we buy a house these days using it as a tool to
turn and make more money is accurate. However, it further demonstrates
what I see as the greater impact on the country. In the building of this great
nation families in the past bought land and spent their lives tilling the soil,
building a future for generations to come while instilling these dreams and
a pride in their children. Almost all Americans were intent on passing down
the property and the growing value in it to the next generations. Then that
started to change. Now we don't by a home or land with this same intent or
dream. We don't talk of these dreams to our children as we once did. The
very planning of our nation by every family. The dreams of investing our lives
in this dream with a true sense of pride and true ownership for our children
and grandchildren and the strength and stability that this sense of ownership
and the responsibility for the land and country changes without this. It is all
but gone. The inheritance taxes are a final nail in this. It isn't something that
is tangible, it’s bigger and I think it has much more value. I believe it was this
same dream that gave strength and comfort to those struggling during the
founding of this country and subsequent wars to protect not only this country
but every person striving for freedom around the world. We all realize our
mortality and are driven to procreate and even more so we want to be
remembered, to matter! Look at business owners.
Especially the small ones that started or are a family owned and operated
business! These business owners are the last vestige in this
unseen line of thought and they are being attacked. Now more than ever.
Success itself is often looked down upon and people who have achieved a
form success are told they OWE or they have a RESPONSIBILITY
to give back. Sorry, but they already paid! In full! They earned it!
To me, unchecked, this will be the last stand.
The final battle before the collapse of our country. Again, if unchecked.
What exactly are we working for if not true ownership and pride in that
ownership combined with control of our own destiny and connecting
to our future generations? Unfortunately, this is only the tip of
the difficult problems facing our country. It is pretty clear that
our president knows without a doubt that this country
is under attack and fighting for every inch of our freedoms and
it is a fight to the death.
